The project team will fully practice the five character traits of "trust and harmony in the world, dare to be the first", take the foundation laying ceremony as a new starting point, standardize the organization of construction, strictly control the quality of the project, and promote the early completion and commissioning of the project with high standards, high quality, and high efficiency, contributing to the high-quality development of Lingang District. At the end of the event, the attending leaders jointly laid the foundation for the project, marking the official start of the project construction process.
It is reported that the Weihai Feiteng Intelligent Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Research and Industrialization Project mainly engages in the research and production of products such as heavy-duty, long endurance, and high safety emergency firefighting drones. It will build a drone industry base that integrates research and development, production, testing, training, and exhibition. After completion, the annual production capacity of various types of unmanned aerial vehicles can reach more than 2000, forming an industrial chain covering "raw material supply, component manufacturing, system integration, and after-sales service". It has become a leading domestic supplier of unmanned aerial vehicle aviation emergency rescue equipment and solutions, as well as a base for unmanned aerial vehicle research and manufacturing. It has important practical significance and strong demonstration effect for the construction of high-end equipment and even the entire industry chain of "air space integration" in the whole region.
